Event Description
Join us as we open our gates for Open Farm Sunday for the very first time on 7th June! Castle Farm — already well known for its hop gardens, Summer Lavender fields, August sunflowers, PYO apples, pumpkins and year-round farm shop — is joining the hundreds of farms across the country welcoming visitors. View an impressive display of farm machinery, big and small, and learn how they are used on the farm throughout the seasons, meet some of our friendly Welsh Black Cattle, and hop aboard a tractor and trailer ride around the fields (tickets available to purchase on the day on the day). You can also take a peek at what’s living in our river, with a hands-on kick sample showcase by the Kent Wildlife Trust. Refuel with great coffee and locally-made ice cream, and browse the Castle Farm Shop — all open as usual. We can't wait to welcome you!
Please note that the lavender will not be in flower on this date and the lavender fields will not be open.
About This Farm
