Event Description
We are opening the gates of our family run farm in the heart of Long Melford. This is a free to attend event so come along to say hello to the cows grazing on the water meadows and learn about the crops we grow in the fields around the village. From Wheat for bread to Sugar Beet for sugar, our farming team will be on hand to explain how your food is produced and all the different things we get up to on the farm.
Learn about how we look after the water meadows, the wildlife and environment on the farm, including the secrets of the Dung Beetle!
There will be a static machinery display, cows to see, tractor and trailer rides and much more!
Weather permitting, our Barrel Train will be running for a small fee.
