About This Farm
Hadleigh Farm is a roughly 900 acre site which was started in 1890 when William Booth bought three neighbouring farms with the aim of providing the unskilled and unemployed with the skills to find work. The farm is split into roughly 600 acres of arable land and 300 acres of grazing. The Rare Breed Centre is an open public farm that covers around 4 acres of the grazing land. The centres aim is to help conserve the UK's Rare Breed livestock through conservation and eduction.
