Event Description
A chance to get behind the scenes at Farms for City Children, Lower Treginnis. Find out what children and young people experience on a transformative residential with us. Activities will include guided farm tours, meeting livestock, chick handling and the opportunity to pick your own flowers.
Light refreshments and farm produce available for sale on the day. Allocated picnic area.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
About This Farm
Lower Treginnis is a small farm run by the charity Farms for City Children. It provides transformative hands-on residential experiences. Livestock includes poultry, pigs, goats and donkeys. A field garden and polytunnels enable production of vegetables and flowers. Our partner farmer is a commercial sheep producer.
