Event Description
Elsworthy farm provides an introduction to a hill farm and small scale traditional cattle farming, through a safari walk in medieval fields, exploring different hedge management techniques, identifying bird and animal life, learning about grass and soil biodiversity and techniques being used to regenerate the soil in this area. For those brave enough, I would love to demonstrate the basics of "cattle whispering" to show how to manage cattle on their terms and understand their needs. A cost of £10 per person covers the cost of the visit and a drink. A donation for children would be gratefully received.
Booking through the website: elsworthyfarm.co.uk
