Event Description
Join us for a wonderful weekend at the farm and experience rural life up close at our two-day Open Farm Event!
Meet our friendly goat herd, including beautiful Rare Breed Royal Golden Guernsey goats, British Guernseys, Anglo Nubians, and Boer crosses. Get to know their personalities, learn about their care, and discover what makes each breed so special.
Throughout the weekend, enjoy a range of traditional craft demonstrations, including soap making, felting, and sheep fleece preparation. There will also be hands-on crafting activities to keep children entertained and inspired.
Take the opportunity to meet our sheep flock, featuring native Ryelands and Coloured Ryelands. Learn about their heritage, their valuable fleece, and their role in sustainable farming.
Discover our growing garden, where everything is connected — the animals help nourish the soil that feeds the vegetables we grow, and in turn, they enjoy the harvest as healthy treats. It’s a simple, sustainable cycle that’s at the heart of life on our farm.
Explore our nature trail with a scenic walk to the living willow tunnel bird hide, or simply relax and soak in the surroundings. Treat yourself to delicious farm burgers, Sausages or a traditional afternoon tea.
Whether you're a family looking for a fun day out, a craft enthusiast, or simply curious about farm life, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We look forward to welcoming you!
About This Farm
Raynebow Farm is a small mixed farm dedicated to working with nature and preserving rare native breeds. At the heart of the farm is our herd of 35 Royal Golden Guernsey goats, a rare and beautiful breed. They play an important role in conservation grazing across the land, while also providing milk for our handmade farm soap and contributing to our sustainable meat production.
Alongside our goats, we keep Ryeland and coloured Ryeland sheep, carefully reared for both their high-quality wool and meat.
