About This Farm
Low Borrowbridge is a traditional upland Farm with sheep and cattle. We also have pigs, hens and Fell ponies.
We work alongside the wildlife that lives on the farm-red squirrels, otters, deer etc. We are currently implementing environmental schemes to provide riparian habitats. We have ancient alder woodlands with wych elm trees.
We also have a Roman fort. The farm has a fascinating history and was once a coaching inn and the home of the biggest Sheep show and sale in the north of England.
