Event Description
Visit a traditional working hill farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and experience upland farming. At Hazel Brow Farm, we’ll be sharing what day-to-day life looks like on a hill farm, from working sheepdogs to sheep shearing, and how we care for our animals and land.
Come along for a relaxed, family-friendly day with plenty to see and do, including:
Working sheepdog demonstrations by Midnight Sheepdogs
Sheep shearing demonstrations by local farmer, Sam
Meet and greet the animals
Crafts and hands-on activities
Explore our nature trail
And more to enjoy throughout the day
As part of the day, you’ll also learn how upland farmers look after the landscape, helping to maintain the rich wildlife and biodiversity the Yorkshire Dales is known for.
Refreshments will be available to purchase.
