Event Description
Come on down to our arable farm in Holbrook for a look at what we are growing and how. Come and meet some local livestock, see some modern and vintage machinery, and bring your burning questions for our shed of industry experts! Don’t miss a tractor and trailer tour of the farm too. We’ll have plenty of food and drink on offer, and games for all ages to have a go at. We charge the small fee of £3 per person to enter, as we are keen fundraisers for the local air ambulance charity. Please try to pre-book your tickets with the above link!
There will be lots to see and do, so come and join us for a fun day down on the farm.
About This Farm
Woodlands Farm is a family run arable farm growing mainly chipping potatoes, wheat, winter & spring barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet and onions, with other diversifications such as our farm shop. Currently farming 650+ acres on the Shotley Peninsula, we are keen on our protection of the environment and the wildlife of the farm, so we're participating in the mid-tier stewardship scheme. Please do come along and have a look at what farming involves!
