Event Description
Sunday June 7th 2026,is part of Harborough Great Big Green Week as well as Open Farm Sunday. Hopefully, a Sunday in June may be an easier day for farmers to be involved,
• to focus again on a sustainable food and farm future
• how it improves the quality of our food and health
• how people might get into some aspect of farming
• and how they can improve their own gardens to make them more biodiverse.
We would like to raise awareness of the pressures farmers are under for many reasons too.
Farmer Dr Miriam Stoate will especially be promoting farming for girls and women.
