Event Description
An exciting visit to a working care farm that supports vulnerable people across the West Midlands.
Visitors can experience multiple activity zones, located around the working farm, where they can explore a variety of livestock including curious cattle, alpacas, greedy goats, silly sheep, daring ducklings and playful pigs. Visitors will have hands on opportunities to hold, groom, stroke and pet livestock, and feed calves!
There will also be an educational children's zone where children can create alpaca masks, plant sunflowers, learn about day-day running of a farm and much more! For the whole family, there will be a wide variety of attractions including vintage, classic and modern tractor collection, country stalls, tractor-trailer rides, as well as displays by the emergency services. This year we are delighted to have the UK Axe Felling Team performing!. In addition, informative talks will be put on for those who would like to learn more about farming and British Agriculture.
Refreshments and facilities (including disabled access) is also available on site. Entry to the farm is free, but donations are welcome to support Willowdene's social enterprise, with some events at a small cost. All funds raised support vulnerable women and children across West Merica.
