Event Description
Nunton Farm and Longford Farms will be hosting the Open Farm Sunday and are delighted to welcome visitors back to our beautiful farms.
See our state of the art rotary milking parlour, milking our herd of 800 Friesian cows.
Ride on a trailer around the beautiful Longford Estate, seeing the countryside and farm animals and crops.
See a variety of farm machinery, new and old and learn about the technology in farming today.
Meet the people who work and look after farms in the area.
Also try some delicious local foods which are produced on farms in the area.
Dogs are NOT allowed - We are sorry that dogs are not allowed at this event due to animal welfare concerns.
There will be an entry fee and an opportunity to donate to charities.
Booking is highly recommended to avoid delays on the day.

The Martin Family have been farming at Nunton, near Salisbury, for 4 generations! Our happy herd of Friesian & Jersey cross cows live free range on Salisbury’s famous water meadows. We understand the importance of knowing where our food comes from and how it is produced. We prioritize the welfare of our animals and the sustainability of our farming practices above all else. We believe that by working in harmony with nature, we create the best farming environment.
