Event Description
You are welcome to come to our Open Farm Sunday at Preston Hall Farm, based at Rosemains. Now in our fourth year of hosting, we couldn’t think of a better way to showcase the world of agriculture than by immersing you right in the heart of it.
Get up close to our large machinery, see it in action, and meet our fantastic team of farmers. Experts from AHDB, RHET, and Mordun will also be joining us, offering fascinating insights into modern farming.
For 2026, we’re delighted to be working alongside the Rosemains residents, who will be hosting an open studio-style setup throughout the day. You’ll have the chance to explore creative spaces and enjoy a great range of food vendors, offering plenty of options to keep you fuelled as you explore.

About This Farm
A diversified arable farm located 25 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. We grow our own wheat, barley, oats and oil seed rape using modern machinery and we are not afraid to try new things. We have an excellent team, who are very happy to chat about what we do and the challenges farming in Scotland bring.
