Annabel is the most enthusiastic supporter of Open Farm Sunday and is passionate about the positive impact of connecting society with farmers. Brought up in Southampton, Annabel escaped to the countryside and has over twenty years’ experience working in a range of agricultural marketing and communications roles. The skills, professionalism, science and technology across the sector, provides the inspiration and drive to support farmers to showcase British farming and to help the public understand and value all that the industry delivers. Its her firm belief that every farmer has a fascinating story to share and its her mission to support them to achieve this!

Jessica is the OFS officer at LEAF Head Office. Jess grew up on an organic dairy farm in the South West of England and studied agriculture at university. It has encouraged interest in regenerative agriculture, farm education programmes and agroecology projects. Working at LEAF has brought these interests to light, and using these interests in educating the future generation about farming and food production. Sustainability is a leading factor which is changing the world, and with LEAF I can encourage the next generation to make conscious choices when it comes to farming and food. Working across both the OFS and the Education team, Jess is an asset to Open Farm Sunday!

Andy Guy ran his own dairy, LEAF Demonstration Farm between 2004 and 2010 and hosted hundreds of visits during those years, participating in Open Farm Sunday as a host until 2010 when he stopped farming. Andy now runs an independent, award-winning sustainable food and farming consultancy business and has been heavily involved in Open Farm Sunday since 2010, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Rebecca has been involved in Open Farm Sunday since it began in 2006, helping at events on her family farm in Kinross. Now based on a dairy farm in Dumfries, Rebecca has a wealth of knowledge and passion for Open Farm Sunday. As a farmer's daughter, Anne has a profound love for British farming and all that it stands for. Living and working on her family farm in North Northumberland, she is keen to do all she can to see the public perception towards British Agriculture move in a more positive direction. Open Farm Sunday contributes greatly to this shift in attitudes and understanding, and she loves hosting OFS events.

Jon has helped and exhibited at many OFS events in the past, and is passionate about promoting the industry through events such as OFS. Jon is a self-employed crop consultant, specialising in energy and forage crops, as well as being a director of MB Farming Ltd a contracting business in Norfolk and Suffolk, and the technical Agronomist for the Maize Growers Association.

Molly strongly believes in the importance of communication in order to increase accessibility and build an understanding of food, farming and the countryside. She is thrilled to advance this further through Open Farm Sunday supporting host farmers and welcoming around 2000 visitors to Hampton Estate each year for farming's annual open day. Molly is the Hampton Estate’s Nature Based Business Manager, an exciting appointment leading on regenerative agriculture, environmental land management and natural capital. She divides her time between Hampton Estate and The Knepp Estate in Sussex where she is Head of Natural Capital.

Rona Amiss, along with her family run a tenanted farm on the most Southerly point of mainland UK. "Being first generation farmers, we have had 3 tenanted farms and worked in various sectors including poultry, dairy, beef, sheep and arable. We ran our first Open Farm Sunday event in 2007 and have continued most years. Starting with small farm walks we now have a fantastic village event that attracts over 1200 people."

Helen is a 7th generation farmer! Her brother and father farm at Ridgeway Farm, a traditional mixed dairy and arable farm located just outside Blackpool, Lancashire. Helen and her mother hold a number of open farm events throughout the year, the events attract a wide range of visitors, some of whom have been over 30 years old and never been to a farm! This opened the family's eyes, especially her father's, as before then he didn’t believe people would want to come to, or learn about farms and farming life. Helen is passionate about educating the public and offering the opportunity to visit a real life working farm, and is more than happy to support anyone in their Open Farm Sunday journey!

Lucy and her husband, a sixth-generation farmer live on a 100ha arable farm in Worcestershire with their two children. Lucy has a degree in drama, a postgraduate qualification in sports sociology and has worked as fundraising manager for RNLI and BHF. Lucy and her husband aspire to transition their farm to a regenerative system and opened their farm for Open Farm Sunday for the first time in 2021.
