Kellogg’s
At Kellogg’s, we work closely with our farmers to grow and nurture the grains and other ingredients we use to make many of the delicious cereals and snacks people around the world regularly enjoy.
In the UK, we have a programme with wheat farmers to encourage sustainable agricultural practices called ‘Kellogg’s Origins’. This programme supports farmers to develop new techniques and use new technologies to improve how crops are grown, enhance the environment and positively impact farmer livelihoods.
Over the last few years, the Kellogg’s Origins farmers have undertaken a number of practices to improve soil health and enhance the natural landscape that surround their fields. These include improving the soil using cover crops and planting wild seed mixtures, grass buffer strips and pollen and nectar areas to encourage insects and biodiversity.
One of Kellogg’s rice growers will be featuring live during Sunday, giving us an insight into where the rice comes from that is used in Kellogg’s cereals — so tune in on Sunday at 2.30pm!
