Biannually, Farmers Weekly are also proud organisers of Farmer Apprentice of the Year.
- Farmers Apprentice is Farmers Weekly’s response to the challenge of recruiting the best business minds into agriculture, by providing a platform from which young people from all walks of life can get a foot on to the farming ladder.
- Ten young apprentices are selected with a range of skills and interests in agriculture to take part in the Farmers Apprentice week long Bootcamp. The 2020 finalists have undertaken the Bootcamp, but the winner is still under wraps!
- If you like The Apprentice and love farming, you’ll enjoy following the fortunes of the 10 finalists as they battled it out to become the 2018 FW Apprentice of the Year and take home a cheque for £10,000 to further their career in farming.
